La respuesta honesta es: <strong>no, no siempre se opera<\/strong>, y la decisi\u00f3n depende de varios factores que hay que evaluar con calma.<\/p>\n\n    <h3>\u00bfQu\u00e9 es el ligamento cruzado y para qu\u00e9 sirve?<\/h3>\n    <p>El ligamento cruzado anterior (LCA) es una de las estructuras m\u00e1s importantes de la rodilla. Conecta el f\u00e9mur con la tibia y es el responsable de que la rodilla no se \u00abvaya hacia adelante\u00bb ni gire de m\u00e1s. Una valoraci\u00f3n con un especialista en cirug\u00eda articular, que revise tus estudios de imagen y te conozca como paciente, es lo que determina el mejor camino para ti.\n    <\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n  <div class=\"faq-block\">\n    <h3>Preguntas frecuentes<\/h3>\n    <div class=\"faq-item\">\n      <div class=\"q\">\u00bfSi no me opero el LCA, se puede vivir normal?<\/div>\n      <div class=\"a\">S\u00ed, muchas personas llevan vida normal sin cirug\u00eda, especialmente si hacen una buena rehabilitaci\u00f3n y la rodilla no presenta inestabilidad. Sin embargo, hay mayor riesgo de lesiones secundarias en el menisco o el cart\u00edlago si se somete la rodilla a esfuerzos altos.<\/div>\n    <\/div>\n    <div class=\"faq-item\">\n      <div class=\"q\">\u00bfCu\u00e1nto tiempo hay que esperar antes de operar el LCA?<\/div>\n      <div class=\"a\">En general se espera entre 3 y 6 semanas despu\u00e9s de la lesi\u00f3n para que baje la inflamaci\u00f3n y mejorar la movilidad antes de la cirug\u00eda.
